Glacier Express "The Blue Bus"
Adults - $79
Children - $49 (12 and under)
Duration: 3 Hours
NEW FOR 2024!! In order to improve the customer experience, the Glacier Express “Blue Bus” will now depart on a limited schedule with a fixed 2 hours at the glacier with predetermined departure times. You will now be able to make a reservation in advance with guaranteed seats both directions, which was not possible before. For over 20 years, we operated the iconic Glacier Express that takes guests to the Mendenhall Glacier every 30 minutes on a first come first served basis. Unfortunately, with increased demand, this model presented too many challenges to the experience and convenience, including space often being reduced to standing room only if available at all. The schedule is now available online with available departure times in our booking calendar. We apologize if you do not see a departure time that works with your itinerary or cruise schedule. Keep in mind we also offer a Juneau Highlights and Mendenhall Glacier (3.25 total tour time) where you get 1.5 hours at glacier or the shorter Juneau City Tour (1.5 hours total tour time) as alternative options. Thank you for understanding.
