See the Red Dog Saloon, Capital building. Also included in this tour is the amazing new Breaching Whale Statue and Fountain at Mayor Bill Overstreet Park in Downtown Juneau! Be sure to bring a camera for the stop on Douglas Island's panoramic view of Juneau against the snowcapped mountains and your cruise ship. Spend approximately one hour exploring Mendenhall Glacier's water falls, trails and wildlife. Be sure to stop at the Visitors Center to hear about the magestic blue ice and nature at its best.

"The Blue Bus" Glacier Express

 

$45 per person roundtrip        

 

This is a narrated express direct transportation 14 miles from downtown to the Mendenhall Glacier. "The Bule Bus" runs every 30 minutes beginning at 8:00am till 6:00pm on most days. Let our Bright Blue Bus take you out to the “Big Blue Ice”

(The USFS charges $5 to enter the Visitors Center and that fee is included in the tour price)

Includes Juneau's Best historic tour with the Panaramic photo Op on Douglas Island, a tour of Macaulay Salmon Hatchery taking about 40 minutes, and approximately 1 hour at the Mendenhall Glacier. Salmon are more plentiful after July 4th thru end of August when fish are returning.  Also included in this tour is the amazing new Breaching Whale Statue and Fountain at Mayor Bill Overstreet Park in Downtown Juneau!
