Blue Bus Glacier Express

Service Description

The Blue Bus Glacier Express is the best way to get from the downtown Juneau docks the 14 miles out to the majestic Mendenhall Glacier! This narrated trip will introduce you to Juneau, our history and what it is today. There are no timed tickets. The bus leaves downtown and departs from the Mendenhall Glacier visitor center every half hour meaning it is up to you to decide when you want to leave and come back. Posted times are for buses leaving downtown, the final bus back from the glacier is an hour after the last posted time (if the day goes through 6:00, the last bus back will be at 7:00). The $5 entrance fee to the visitor center is included in ticket price. A 5% tax will be added in the cart.
